FOOD FROM THE EARTH IS FOOD FOR LIFE
Holistic diet/living consists of eating to live. By consuming things that nourish our mind, body and spirit. Eating whole foods (food consisting of one ingredient).
Holistic living isn’t limited to live foods but is highly encouraged to aid in regulatory functions like, metabolism, gut health, reproductive, respiratory, blood flow, heart health and more.
The main goal of a holistic lifestyle is to do more with less.
Fruits (with seeds):
Vegetables
Starches
Herbs/Spices
Try shopping at local markets before grocery stores (always read ingredients)
Cut out ALL diary products and processed oils (vegetable, canola etc) . Instead use grapeseed oil, almond oil, avacado or coconut oils ( both have healthy fats our bodies need)
Eat more raw meals, fruit salads, lettuce wraps, overnight oats, smoothies, fresh pressed juices and salads (olive oil, salt, pepper dressing for alternative) Or meals with minimally processed ingredients
Journal, write out meal ideas, things you want to try or have tried that work for you.
Set intentions with everything you do & hold yourself accountable!
