Ms. Courtney was born and raised in Kisii District- Kenya. Moved to the US in 2017, she had less than $20 to her name when she landed in DC. Her first job in the US was Chipotle. She loved that job and learned so much about the American culture. Went to Thunderbird School of Global Management (Grad School) in the fall of 2017, she would then graduate in December 2018 with her Master of Business Administration (MBA) and multiple offers from 3 top fortune 500 companies. Ms. Courtney started her career at ExxonMobil in Houston in 2019. Would then land her amazing job at Amazon in 2021, and  her dream job at Microsoft in 2022 as an Snr Program Manager in Azure CCX team which she is still currently doing. 

     Ms.Courtney's career journey ignited her passion for career and confidence coaching because her career has transformed her life. She has made it her mission to help ambitious professionals from all kinds of backgrounds land their dream jobs so they can make more money live a fulfilled  life. Courtney is the CEO and founder of JoanneMarime Coaching LLC and currently takes on clients for her 8-week Dream Job Finder coaching program that helps professionals to transform from job seekers to job shoppers.
